Euro-cup (R4) and The Amazing Raft Race. Voss, Norway. Tues 29th – Wed 30th of June 2009
Voss in Norway is a centre for action sports and outdoor events. It’s a small town located on the West coast, 100 km east of Bergen. Ekstremsportveko is the largest extreme sports event in the entire world. This summer will be the lucky 13th event in a row. Ekstremsportveko hosts competitors and spectators from all over the world, and is therefore a great mix of happy people gathered to enjoy the sweet atmosphere of this unique event.
How do you get here? The closest airport is Bergen, Flesland. From Flesland it’s a 1,5 hour drive by car. You can go by bus and train to Voss. From Oslo airport, Gardemoen it’s a 6 hour train ride, listed as one of the most scenic in Europe! We pick you up at the Voss train station.
Where do you sleep? We offer free camping. There are also possibilities for more comfortable accommodation. Tell us soon, so we can book for you.
Cost (subject to change as not yet fully confirmed): 1. Only rafting competition = 450,- Kr per person: Entry to festival tent Tuesday + Wednesday 2. Participant Pass 1000 Kr = Competitors and access to festival tent all week. 3. Ekstreme Pass 1250 Kr = All access all concerts in VEKO all week.
Registration and information: Last date of registration is 18th of June but book a.s.a.p. Please contact us early though as we may have to limit entries.
